I Hate To Admit This

... but i think i just write better when the sun sets.

Big My Secret

I love surfing for new blogs.

Just ask my friends who regularly receive my carpet-bomb emails plugging what I think are stimulating reads. I have patient friends.

In the course of "bloguer-ing", i sometimes look up old haunts, like PostSecret.
I return often to check for updates, like an addict who needs his next fix. I reckon it's the combination of total anonymity and naked revelation that I find so compelling. Some entries make me laugh out loud, while others make me stop dead in my tracks, if not all choked up with emotions and tears. And did i neglect to mention some some seriously creative artwork posted up there? Makes me itch to get the books!

What's your secret?

Homeward Bound

Yes, I know. The radio silence has been deafening, hence my attempts to cut through it with this slip of a post.

No excuses of course, although it has been a busy and exciting time, in which I have done more travelling this past month than I have these couple of years. I am now at the tail-end of my Oz sojourn, and what a trip it has been. While not lazing around, I actually managed to do the following:

1. Not worry about work (more difficult than I thought, but i managed to in the end.)
2. Caught up with family and friends here (Thanks Wen & Ervs as well as Set, Steph and LLY for putting up with my presence despite your hectic work and study schedules! Uncle K and Auntie L, it was wonderful meeting up with you both!)
3. Went to the beach (Despite the uncooperative weather,
Sculpture by the Sea was awesome!)
4. Checked out the parks and indulged in some cafe slumming.
5. Tried a new recipe or two.
6. Ate and shopped far too much for my own good.
7. Watched U2
perform "live" (An unexpected surprise. The show itself? Sublime.)

Anyways, the above is but a list. Details and photos to come.
